Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know
Does Replyke control how my app looks?
Not at all! Replyke is not a UI framework or a tool that imposes a predefined structure on your app. It provides access to the data and functionality you need, while leaving the implementation entirely in your hands. You have complete control over the UI, allowing you to design and build it to align perfectly with your app's style and user experience. For a quicker start, feel free to explore our free boilerplate!
Do I need advanced programming skills to use Replyke?
Replyke is currently available as React and React Native libraries, so if you're familiar with those, you're good to go! It’s designed to offload a lot of the hard work you would have had to do otherwise, making your development process much smoother.
Is Replyke only suitable for social networks?
Not at all! While Replyke provides powerful social features, it is flexible enough to enhance any type of app. Whether it’s a content platform, e-commerce site, or project management tool, Replyke can adapt to your needs and bring value to your application.
What makes Replyke different from building these features from scratch?
Replyke saves you time and effort by handling complex backend tasks like authorization, comment threads, voting systems notifications and more. It’s not just about saving time—it also ensures scalability and security out of the box.
Can Replyke integrate with my existing app and data?
Absolutely! Replyke is designed to seamlessly integrate with your existing user system, posts, articles, or any other data structure. There’s no need to change anything about your current setup. It works alongside your existing backend, allowing you to add powerful social features without disrupting your app’s architecture.
Do I need a server to work with Replyke?
Replyke works without a server, so you can start using it right away during development. However, for production, it’s recommended to set up a basic server for security. A server is needed to handle webhooks, which verify new data being added, and to sign JWTs if you’re using an external user system, as signing should always be done on the server.
